Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant that prevents malignant diseases neutralizing the destructive effect of free radicals that cause diseases, premature growing old of the organism and ageing in general. Our body does not produce lycopene, it needs to be ingested through food. Interestingly, tomato products contain several times more of it than do raw tomatoes since processing enables its bioavailability. Tomato products are therefore an excellent and one of the main natural sources of lycopene.

Tomato puree is produced by
special technological procedure preserving pectin and cellulose. They
provide it with firmness, and with organic acids and pectin present in the body
they activate digestion processes and prevent negative effect of bacteria.
Ingredients: tomatoes, table salt, acidity regulator: citric acid.
Usage: tomato puree can be used for preparation of sauces, soups, pizza toppings, pasta, rice and other side dishes.
Storage: After opening keep in the refrigerator for 4 days.
Shelf life: 24 months.
