The Podravka integrated management system encompasses the following certified systems:

  • ISO 9001 Quality management systems - requirements
  • IFS (International Featured Standards) - IFS Food – international food standards
  • BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standard) - Food Safety – Global food safety standard
  • AOECS (Association of European Coeliac Societies)
  • HALAL certificate – certification according to the standard HRN BAS 1049 Halal food
  • KOSHER certificate issued by Rabbi Dr. Kotel Da-Don, Chief Rabbi in the Bet Israel religious society in Croatia
  • BIO (ECO, BIO or ORGANSKO) – certificate for organic products
  • VEGAN (V-label) – European vegetarian label, a label of the European Vegetarian Union (EVU) for products produced in line with vegetarian and vegan ethics, in accordance with the EVU requirements

Management systems imply:

Pursuant to the Strategy of Sustainable Operations of the Podravka Group, we are planning to introduce the following standards:

Food safety and quality system

We are dedicated to ensuring the highest level of food safety and quality

  • We continually maintain and improve the introduced management system based on the most stringent food safety standards and regulations of the Republic of Croatia, European Union, and all countries in which we operate, with a focus on the food safety and quality system
  • Continuously improve the safety and quality of Podravka products through the application of the leading food safety standards IFS Food (International Featured Standard-Food) and BRCGS Food Safety, whose certificates confirm the safety of our products
  • Our fundamental focus is the production of high quality and health compliant products based on good manufacturer’s practice and principles of managing the quality and safety of food
  • We possess a quality control system with laboratories responsible for planning, control and verification of the quality and health compliance, integrated through the SAP QM information system
  • Continuously caring for employee development, in order to attain and maintain a high level of technological knowledge and skills in corporate governance, as one of the most important determinants for maintaining the established food safety and quality system
  • We implement the principles of food security and quality culture, spreading awareness as to the important of implementing food safety and quality systems at all levels of the company
