It is used for preparing less sweet jams, marmelades and fruit jelly which are of gentle and more spreadable consistency. 

You need to add 1 kg of fruit and 500 g of sugar. This proportion is specified on the front side of the packaging (ratio 2:1 - fruit:sugar).
