Podravka's shares - industrial shares of the year
Podravka's shares were pronounced the best industrial shares of the previous year. A prize was also awarded to Podravka for the most liquid shares, and a special journalist jury considered that Podravka had the best media and public relations in the previous year.
The 6th Award of the Golden Share of the Year organised by Kapital Club, the Zagreb Stock Exchange and Croatian Television, held this year as part of the 7th Financial Forum in Zagreb, was marked to a great extent by Podravka. The Koprivnica-based company was nominated in several categories for achievements over the previous year on the capital market. In the end it won three valuable prizes. Podravka’s shares were pronounced the best industrial shares of the previous year (among other nominees such as Kraš and Pliva). A prize was also awarded to Podravka for the most liquid shares, and a special journalist jury considered that Podravka had the best media and public relations in the previous year. The only company that received more prizes than Podravka was Zagrebačka Banka whose shares were pronounced the Golden Share of 2001.
The prizes were awarded at a ceremony at the Hotel Opera in Zagreb, attended by numerous financial experts, renowned business people, Government and Parliament representatives, and reporters.
