ISO 9001-2000 quality management system extended to Podravka Dishes, Lino, Dolcela and Kviki
The quality management system has now been extended to other business processes and product brands such as Podravka Dishes (soups, semi-cooked dishes, special food complements), and Lino Dolcela and Kviki (children's food, powdered desserts and snacks).
Between 18 and 20 June 2002, a certification audit of the Podravka quality management system was carried out by the certification company Det Norske Veritas, during which all the ISO 9001: 2000 requirements were met. Until now, the Certificate included business processes concerning the development, sales and distribution of VEGETA branded products from the range of food seasoning. The quality management system has now been extended to other business processes and product brands such as Podravka Dishes (soups, semi-cooked dishes, special food complements), and Lino Dolcela and Kviki (children’s food, powdered desserts and snacks).
One of the most significant activities prior to this certification cycle was the implementation of Q-Pulse software designed for the on-line management of the documentation system. The implementation of this software has greatly reduced paperwork, shortened the time of delivering documents to users, and facilitated and increased access to the documents themselves, making it easier to monitor buyers and suppliers. In this way, Podravka’s quality management system has been transformed into a “paperless system”.
The quality management system will be applied to other business processes of the Podravka food production activity, and will also be extended this year to the Fruit and Vegetables, and Beverages production programmes, whose certification should be obtained by the end of October of this year.
