According to research by the Young & Rubicam (Y&R) agency – Vegeta, Lipton, and the RMF FM (radio station) are brands with the greatest potential for growth in Poland. The results of this research were published in Rzeczpolita, the daily newspaper with the largest circulation in Poland.

The Vegeta brand jumped from 26th position in 2001 to this year’s 3rd position of brands with the greatest potential for growth in Poland. Following Vegeta are some of the most renowned multinational brands, such as Adidas in 7th place, Nokia in 17th, while Unilever with its Knorr brand has fallen from 14th to 19th place. Vegeta’s success is the result of targeted marketing activities in the market of Poland, of the work of the entire representative office of Podravka in Poland and of the marketing manager in Koprivnica.

According to the Y&R assessment, the brands’ success is based on tests measuring the extent to which a certain brand meets the needs of clients, what differentiates it from other brands, and how much consumers appreciate and are familiar with the brand. Out of all the brands covered by the research these requirements were best met by Vegeta, Lipton and Wedel.

When presenting their methods of assessing brands, in the second part of the research, besides measuring the potentials of the brands, Y&R also published the most popular Polish brands. Y&R used the established Brand Asset Valuator research and evaluation model and tools, which showed that the brands Vegeta, Lipton and the RMF FM radio station have the greatest potential for growth in Poland.
