The certification of Podravka's Internationals begins

The first certification of two Podravka Internationals was successfully completed last week. The agent responsible for the project was KF Quality Management together with the management of the respective International.

The certification of Podravka Polska, Kostrzyn, was carried out in Poland, and the area of certification was the production of the Vegeta brand. In Hungary, the scope of certification was the production, sales and distribution of the Vegeta brand concerning the Podravka Internationals in Budapest and Mohacs.

This completes the first certification of business processes at all the locations where the Podravka Vegeta brand is manufactured.

As had been the case so far, the certification was performed by Podravka’s certification body Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The auditing team consisted of Mr Krešimir Paliska (DNV-Croatia), Mr Dominik Lisiewski (DNV-Poland) in Poland, and Mr György Laczkó (DNV-Hungary) in Hungary. This event marked the internationalisation of the auditing teams that will perform certification of Podravka.

The establishment and the certification of a business management system is another step forward in preparing Podravka Internationals for future integration in the EU. Podravka is building and improving a management system which will contribute to more efficient business and allow Podravka to be recognised as a highly-respected business partner who stresses the importance of meeting the demands of the market, customers and consumers.

Next year, it is planned to complete the certification of the remaining food activities of the Podravka Group, and to continue the certification of Podravka Internationals.
