Recognition to the Podravka Meat Industry at the Slovenia Fair

Podravka’s meat industry – Danica – received four quality awards for its products at the famous Agriculture & Food Fair in Gornja Radgona in Slovenia. The expert evaluation committee awarded the silver medal for quality to the famous Podravka Beef Goulash and Čajna Pašteta meat spread, while the bronze medal went to Leo liver spread, and Meat Ragout. Podravka entered these four products in particular since they had already been established on the Slovenian market.

Podravka’s meat industry was given export number HR139 which it has been using for more than twenty-five years to export products all over the world. Currently, Danica is one of three Croatian meat industries with a licence issued by competent authorities for export into all the countries of the world, and is currently exporting into some twenty countries. In Danica, the entire process, from the control of raw material, packaging and production to the finished product is fully supervised from the very beginning. In addition to control within the company, control is also performed by independent external laboratories.
