Podravka launches new Plum Jam with the Authentic Croatian mark

Along with Podravka’s Plum Jam sold in 290g containers, which already carry the Authentic Croatian mark, from the current plum-processing season, the same mark will also appear on 870g and 490 g Plum Jam packaging. Plum Jam is a unique product from Podravka, best known for its natural flavour. The product is primarily the result of a tradition of industrial fruit processing that started in 1934, and this particular brand of jam is made according to the original traditional recipe from 1975, to which the product owes its uniqueness.

Podravka’s Plum Jam with the Authentic Croatian mark is now a member of a list of about thirty products, all of which carry this prestigious symbol that is awarded by the Croatian Chamber of Economy. Along with Plum Jam, another of Podravka’s products – Vegeta – has also been included in the list.

Podravka’s “Fruits” factory started this year’s seasonal purchase of plums needed for the production of jam. The fruit will be purchased from domestic producers from the County of Koprivnica and Križevci, at HRK 2.30 per kg. This season’s purchase of plums has already started, and is expected to last for around ten days.
