New contract signed between Blanka Vlašić and Podravka d.d.

The best Croatian female athlete, Blanka Vlašić, signed a new four-year contract with Podravka. In accordance with the contract, Podravka will continue to support Blanka’s pursuit to the top of the world’s high jump. This is just a continuation of successful cooperation between Blanka and Podravka which recognised Blanka’s top world quality when she was only 15 years old. On the occasion of signing the contract with the President of the Podravka Board, Mr. Darko Marinac, Blanka said she was pleased to continue cooperation with Podravka, since she is already associated with it and it often happens that people in the street call her Studena.

The contract was signed immediately before the 53rd announcement of the best Croatian sportspersons in the opinion of Croatian sports journalists who pronounced Blanka the best Croatian sportsperson in 2004.
