Members of the Parliamentary Committee for Labour, Social Welfare and Health Service in Belupo

As part of their official visit to Koprivnica, on Monday 2nd October, the members of the Parliamentary Committee for Labour, Social Welfare, Health Service, and Finance stopped off in Belupo.

As part of their official visit to Koprivnica, on Monday 2nd October, the members of the Parliamentary Committee for Labour, Social Welfare, Health Service, and Finance stopped off in Belupo.On this occasion, Željko Đurđina, Deputy President of the Management Board, presented the corporate profile of Podravka and stressed, among other things, that the measures of the Croatian Government concerning tax benefits, the lowering of energy costs and involvement in European integration were of great benefit to the further growth of the company.

The General Manager of Belupo, Stanko Biondić, discussed with the Members of Parliament the business results of Belupo which has a share of 18% on the Croatian pharmaceutical market. He highlighted the good export results and the opportunities of winning new makets, which have been presented by the new pharmaceutical plant, built according the the highest world standards. The Members of Parliament, led by the Committee presidents, Snježana Biga Friganović and Ratko Komljenović, visited part of the new plant and stated that they had never before had the chance of seeing such a high level of technology in Croatia.

The members of the Committee also visited the “Ban Krsto Frankopan” army barracks in Koprivnica and the school for children with special needs which operates in inadequate conditions. They promised support in the construction of a new building.
