Expansion of Podravka's system of quality management ISO 9001: 2000
The auditing house Det Norske Veritas executed a certification audit of the quality management system in the strategic business units of the Podravka meals Lino, Dolcela and Kviki in June 2002. One of the most significant activities which preceded this certification cycle was the implementation of Q-Pulse software for the on-line management of the system documentation.
The auditing house Det Norske Veritas executed a certification audit of the quality management system in the strategic business units of the Podravka meals Lino, Dolcela and Kviki in June 2002. The audit showed that all the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 standards were met. The official award of the certificate will take place in the Hotel Podravina on Monday 9 September at 11.00. So far, the certificate has covered all business processes related to the development, manufacturing, sales and distribution of products from the range of the Vegeta brand. Now the quality management system has been expanded to include other business processes and Podravka products from the following Podravka brands: Podravka dishes (soups, semi-prepared dishes, special food additions to dishes), Lino, Dolcela, Kviki (food for children, powdered desserts and snacks).
One of the most significant activities which preceded this certification cycle was the implementation of Q-Pulse software for the on-line management of the system documentation. The implementation of the software has reduced the amount of paper in circulation, reduced the time needed for document distribution to users, facilitated and increased access to documents, and finally it has enabled the keeping of track of customers and distributors. In this way, Podravka’s system of quality management has entered the phase of “paperless business activity”.
The model of the quality management system will also expand to other business processes related to Podravka’s food operations this year and will cover the manufacturing programmes of Fruit and Vegetables and Drinks whose certification is planned by mid-October this year.
