Cooperation between Podravka and e-STUDENT

The Agreement on Cooperation between e-STUDENT and Podravka was signed in Podravka’s premises in Zagreb. The Agreement was signed by the Director of Podravka’s Marketing sector, Romeo Nakić, and the President of the e-STUDENT organisation, Petar Šimić. This cooperation binds Podravka, among other things, to propose projects to e-STUDENT by presenting a marketing, financial, strategic or some other problem related to business operations, in order to provide practical education to students and to assist them in writing their papers. The Agreement commits Podravka to offering the e-STUDENT organisation practical work on a regular basis and supplying information on published job advertisements for specific posts. In addition, Podravka will offer help in accordance with its possibilities and the rules of its business operations on the occasion of writing papers dealing with the business operations of a partner company.

This cooperation has strategic importance for Podravka because it enables the development of joint initiatives between students and the economy to their mutual benefit. We wish to contribute to the educational development of students and facilitate their subsequent encounters with business practice. Apart from that, students will be able to get to know the company better and consider the prospects of professional development in one of the biggest food companies in the region,“ said Romeo Nakić after signing the Agreement.

Signing the Agreement with the leading food company in Croatia means a lot to us since e-STUDENT, by signing agreements with leading companies, positions itself as a leader in the student segment. I think that in cooperation with Podravka we will definitely create added value for students, primarily through high-quality practical work and work on high-quality projects and through interaction with businesspeople and managers from Podravka. At the same time, I believe that we will help Podravka find high quality human potential and young managers,“ said Petar Šimić after signing the Agreement on Cooperation.

The e-STUDENT Organisation was set up two years ago and today brings together more than 350 top Croatian students from the Faculties of Economics, Law and Electrical Engineering and Computing. It is specific because at the beginning of every academic year it runs a special selection process, not only based on the grade point average, but on the basis of I.Q. tests and tests of foreign language skills, computer literacy and additional activities. In this way, the organisation wishes to gather proactive, enthusiastic young people who wish to achieve more.
