Adria d.d. and Podravka sign agreement - Podravka to distribute Adria products

Adria d.d., a joint stock company engaged in fishing, and the processing and trading of fish, signed an agreement with Podravka in Zagreb on 2 June 2003. In this way Podravka has become the distributor of Adria’s tinned fish products. The agreement was signed by Milivoj Jošić, President of the Adria d.d. Management Board and Darko Marinac, President of the Podravka d.d. Management Board.

According to the agreement concluded between Adria d.d. and Podravka d.d., tinned fish products will be distributed through Podravka’s distribution network spanning from the Adriatic to the North Sea. Apart from distributing their own products, Podravka also distributes products produced by other Croatian companies, thus enabling the joint presentation of Croatian companies on the markets where Podravka’s presence has already been established. Cooperation between Podravka and Adria will result in the distribution of about 40 million tins of fish from the Adria range this year.

Adria d.d. from Zadar is one of the largest fish processing companies in the Republic of Croatia. It was established in 1948, and has a 50-year tradition in processing fish. Adria d.d. focuses its business activities on producing tinned fish of the renowned EVA brand which has been on the market for 30 years. Thanks to its hi-tech equipment and good supply of fresh fish, Adria’s EVA and other products have for decades confirmed Adria’s quality and extended its range on the Croatian market. This is also one of the most progressive companies on the Adriatic.
