Kviki in the creative hands of students

How creativeand how familiar are they with the demanding design of packaging, students can show again this year at the 4th competition "Student creative workshop CROPAK 2012".

Logotip - KvikiHow creativeand how familiar are they with the demanding design of packaging, students can show again this year at the 4th competition "Student creative workshop CROPAK 2012", which will be held from 29th February to 4th May, organized by Tectus d.o.o., Zagreb, Institute for packaging and printing - IAT and the magazine Ambalaža/REGprint, in cooperation with Podravka d.d.  food processing industry from Koprivnica.

The workshop starts with a first class at the University Computing Center (SRCE) in Zagreb, where modeling world trends and thanks to the modern technology, and owing to the networking of Croatian universities, Students from Rijeka and Split will communicate with their colleagues from Zagreb using teleconference connection. During this first class students will be in detail presented with the task, and they will get the opportunity to ask questions and exchange experiences. 

Workshop will last for five weeks, and this year's demanding task students will be presented by supervisors and representatives of Podravka - the biggest Croatian food processing company which is with this act proving its social responsibility and shows trust with young in-country creatives. Participating at the workshop students get a unique opportunity that the design of a leading line of snacks gets their signature, which gives them a perfect opportunity to show their own ideas and capacities, and one of a kind launch in their career development. Kviki line of snacks includes some of the most successful traditional Podravka's products, remembered from their childhood even by the parents of today's students. Which new appearance of Kviki snacks will mark the fun time of today's generations we will learn at the proclamation of the winners in May in Koprivnica, and the rewarded design will be promoted as part of the World packaging days 2012, on 6th June in Split.

This year's young creatives are from the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka, Faculty of Graphic Design in Zagreb, Design Study at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, Artistic Academy at the University of Split, and College of Agora from Zagreb.

Students are lead by expert and experienced mentors, university professors, and the role of the creative task and supervisor is taken by the Croatian duo in the area of packaging design - Izvorka Jurić, MA design, and Dean Vranić, creative director of Imago advertising agency from Zagreb.
