Sweet-Sour Soup in Wok

We are preparing one of the most popular Chinese dishes – sweet and sour soup. We will be using basic spices of Chinese national cuisine: shiitake mushrooms, bamboo sprouts, pork or chicken and only 30 minutes of our time.

Sweet-Sour Soup in Wok

Ingredients

  • 300 g pork
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch Gussnel
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1,2 l water
  • 50 g fresh shiitake mushrooms
  • 150 g bamboo sprouts
  • 2 teaspoons Vegeta
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Chinese vinegar
  • 100 g fresh tofu
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

For sprinkling

  • 2 spring onions

Preparation

  1. Cut the meat into strips, add salt and sprinkle with a tablespoon of cornstarch.
  2. Stirring, on a heated oil fry the meat in wok until golden. Pour with water and while still boiling add sliced mushrooms, bamboo sprouts, Vegeta, soy sauce, pepper and vinegar.
  3. The remaining cornstarch dilute in some water and add into the soup.
  4. Add cubed tofu, boil shortly and add sesame oil.

Serving: Serve hot sprinkled with spring onions cut into thin rings.

Advice: You can replace the pork with chicken.
