Skewered meatballs

Arrange soft meatballs on skewers, alternating them with onion, serve with some fine relish and enjoy the meal prepared in open air.

Skewered meatballs

Ingredients

  • 800 g minced veal
  • 1 Vegeta Grill marinade Piquant 100 g
  • 100 g onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp parsley leaves, chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp panko crumbs
  • 2 red onions
  • Oil to grease grill
  • Podravka mild relish

Preparation

  1. Combine minced veal with finely chopped onions, minced garlic and Vegeta marinade. Mix well and allow to rest for about 30 minutes.
  2. Add the egg, chopped parsley leaves and panko crumbs, and knead well until smooth and blended.
  3. Shape into meatballs. Cut the red onions approximately to the size of the meatballs, and alternate meatballs and onion pieces on skewers.
  4. Cook on hot grill or in a griddle pan.

Serving: To maximize the flavour, serve with a bit of mild relish or your favourite dip and warm pita bread.

Advice: Use meat ground to medium rough for compact meatballs.
