Podravka is aware of the fact that a right and high-quality eating is essential for a healthy and high-quality life.

By taking responsibility in their segment, it develops and produces high-quality, practical and safe products. In that way, it influences on the creation of healthy eating habits and contributes to the improvement of the quality of life.

All Podravka products have been marked according to the product regulations of the Republic of Croatia, EU and the countries the company works with. The package has truthful, complete, clear and unmistakable information about the products ( content, origin, the way of usage, date of use, type....). A special care is dedicated to the marking of ingredients which cause allergy or intolerance with some consumer groups.

Every year, there is a consumers satisfaction poll. The data is analyzed and systemized in Podravka, and if necessary, we make some changes in order to improve the products. The consumers's satisfaction has been continuously monitored by a toll-free phone line.

The Responsibility towards the employees

The number of employees of Podravka, Croatia has decreased due to the restructuring and technological modernization. The changes make room fo the employment of young professionals with university degrees.

Podravka provides for their employees a series of benefits out of legally required obligations and employers obligations. The special care is dedicated to the work protection, and the number of work related injuries has been drastically reduced.

Inside Podravka functions the Workers' Council. it is being informed, consulted, and ask for its approval in making of important decisions. The workers are regularly informed of past events, business results and the company plans in the upcoming period.

Education

The biggest asset of Podravka are their employees and their knowledge. Podravka has been involving the great number of its employees in education or learning courses every year. The big part consists of internal education

At Podravka we regularly evaluate the work efficiency and individual development. For all the key positions involved in the evaluation system the impartial rewarding principle is provided and it depends on the efficiency of the employee. The Corporate Governance Code and Ethics Code additionally protects human rights of the employees of Podravka. The Rulebook on procedure and measures for protection of the dignity of workers provides working and employing conditions without discrimination and harassment.

The unions and their representatives can work freely.

While exchanging and giving a good example of a good work, and their own involvement in recognizing the key challenges and looking for solutions, Podravka and their employees actively contribute to the sustainable development of the community they work in.
