
Reporting
The Sustainability Report covers economic, environmental and social impacts of Podravka d.d. The 2006 Report is in compliance with the latest Guidelines for reporting on sustainability of the Global Initiative for reporting of 2006 (www.globalreporting.org ). This type of reporting is also the most relevant global framework for reporting on sustainability. održivosti.
The data from the Report have been obtained by internationally recognized analytical methods of authorized laboratories, programmes for monitoring waste flow KEO ( the register of air emissions), built-in flow-measuring devices, the given accounts of the distributors for the used energy and the authorized institutions. The air emissions from the boiler rooms and furnaces have been measured by the government authorized institutions that are authorized to perform hese kind of measurements and reportings, and a lesser part of emissions (near10%), are made by cars and have been estimated by the car makers recommendation - the CO2 per kilometre.
The External verification of Podravka's Report on sustainable growth is done in collaboration with the Croatian Business Council for sustainable development (HR PSOR). The Croatian Business Council is an economic organization which was founded by leading Croatian companies in the middle of '90-ies in order to encourage together the implementation of the sustainable growth concept and development of the Croatian economics. Podravka has been already member for a number of years of Croatian Business Council, and in 2006 it has become the first Croatian member of IBLF.
The content and the priority subjects of the Report on sustainable growth have been defined in compliance with the Podravka strategy and the aspects of Sustainable growth and the Guidelines of the Global Rreporting Initiative.
