With today's visit to Elementary School Ljudevit Gaj in Nova Gradiška, Lino All-rounder started its fifth season. This unique project by Podravka and Sportske novosti, and as of this season joined by Croatian Telecom, was supported today by a volleyball player Igor Hinić, who has recently won a golden medal with the Croatian representation, and by a finalist in the Show "Croatia's got talent" Vilibald Kovač, who was singing with the happy pupils.
Today's manifestation was not short of children's joy and positive sport spirit, and the happy winners Iskra Alasić and Toni Prpić will try to defend the colours of their school in the final competition to be held with all the winners from all the schools in this season.
After Nova Gradiška, Lino All-rounder begins a tour around Croatia and each week in a different county the pupils will compete in a series of sport disciplines, present their cultural creativity and spend time with top sportsmen from our country, such as Blanka Vlašić, Ivano Balić, Sandra Perković, Ivan Ljubičić, Luka Modrić, Duje Draganja, Mirza Džomba. By the end of the season Lino All-rounder will include more than 16,000 pupils, so the total number of the pupils involved in this project so far will be more than a 100.000.
As a reminder, Lino All-rounder, also known so far as Čokolino All-rounder, was initiated by the legendary captain of the Croatian football representation Zvonimir Boban, and as a project started in the school year 2006/07. Each year 24 competitions are being held, along with one final one, where the winners of all school competitions are gathered, trying to win the realization of their sport dream. Namely, along with the cup, the winners of Lino All-rounder also get an opportunity to choose a sport event anywhere in the world they want to attend, and Podravka and Sportske novosti make their dream come true. So far two winners of Lino All-rounder realized their sport dream - Josip Lotar from Županja went to the Champions League game between Barcelona and Lyon where he met his football idol Lionel Messi, and Stipe Božiković from Jelsa went to the finals of UEFA European league in Hamburg between Atletico Madrid and Fulham and spent some time with handball players Vori, Duvnjak and Lacković. One of the girl winners Katarina Milinković, inmate at the homeless children home in Zagreb, got a scholarship by Podravka.
