Podravka at the Sarajevo Film Festival

In the presence of many film experts, media and film fans, one of the major cultural events in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region, the 14^th Sarajevo Film Festival officially opened last night in Sarajevo.

After the welcoming reception, the hosts and their many guests strolled through the Festival Square taking pleasure in the stimulating film atmosphere.

Terry George, a British director, scriptwriter and producer, accompanied by Mirsad Purivatra, the Festival director and Emina Ganić, the executive director, visited the Podravka Pavilion.

This is third time Terry George has visited Sarajevo, this year as lecturer at the "Talent Campus". He was nominated for the Oscar in 1994 in the category of best adapted screenplay for the film "In the Name of the Father" and in 2005 for the film "Hotel Rwanda".

Podravka has been supporting the Sarajevo Film festival for four years in a row, recognising it as a highly significant cultural event.

During the Festival, Podravka has prepared many surprises for all the visitors. Twice a day, the visitors will have a chance to play the "Wheel of Fortune" at the Podravka Pavilion at Film Square and win interesting prizes, have fun and enjoy the entertaining film atmosphere.

Children from the SOS Children's Village will visit the 14^th Sarajevo Film Festival on 18 August and see a film for children scheduled at 5.00 p.m. in the organisation of Podravka. They will also have a chance to taste Čokolino products, make friends and have fun with lots of surprises.

It has become a tradition that on Family Day, 23 August, Podravka - "A Company with a Heart" will give its humanitarian contribution to the "Association of Parents, Children and Adults in the Autistic Spectre" and prepare an interesting programme for children.

With plenty of surprises and the chance to taste Podravka products, all visitors are invited to get together and enjoy the pleasant film atmosphere of the 14^th Sarajevo Film Festival.
