The biggest world food fair ANUGA was being held for the 29th time in Köln since 13 to 17 October. More than six and a half thousand exhibitors from 95 countries presented their products.
Numerous interesting seminars, presentations and workshops were daily organized at the fair. On Monday, 15 October, Croatian food industry was represented by the name "Croatia before EU accession – development possibilities of Croatian food industry". The forum was organized by the General Consulate of the Republic of Croatia and Chamber of Economy of SRW. The exhibition area was visited by the representatives of General Consulate in Düsseldorf, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
Podravka’s exhibition was based on presentation of the new product Vegeta natural as a universal food seasoning of supreme quality without flavour enhancers. Also represented was the range of fixes under the Vegeta brand in new packaging. Apart from the very attractive exhibition area, the communication went in the direction of business audience and visitors to the fair via culinary presentation of meals with Vegeta natural and fixes at the stand itself. The recipes were designed at Podravka’s Culinary Center, and the meals were prepared by culinary promoters Branko Takač and Zoran Delić.
