After several months of preparations and market research in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, a Podravka representative office began operations in this country which has a population of 50 million. For six years Podravka has been present on the Ukrainian market with products which include children’s food, soups and Lider brickettes. The setting up of a representative office, where four people work at the moment, should increase the sales of products already known to the Ukrainians, but also help the development of a distribution network, and the placement of other Podravka products that have not so far been sold in this country. The initial activities will be focused on sales points, so that on 22 June promotional sales will be organised in almost 500 shops in Kiev and several other areas.
