"Kraluš" Beer Pub and "Podravska klet" among top 100 Croatian restaurants

Podravka's restaurants have been listed among the very top of catering facilities in the country. "Kraluš" Beer Pub and "Podravska klet" have once again proven the quality of their service and are again listed among 100 leading Croatian restaurants.

Since 1996 "Kraluš" was listed nine times in this elite class, while "Podravska klet" was even more successful with total of 13 listings.

- Considering that the guests take part in this election, then managers, i.e restaurant owners and in the end the final evaluation is provided by the Honour Comittee, we can be proud because this listing is not based on the subjective evaluation of an individual. When voting, the offering, quality of service and the interior are taken into the account, Stjepan Križan said, the director of Podravka's catering facilities, adding that Podravka's restaurants offer meals prepared with high quality, tested victuals of domestic origin, along with products produced in the company's factories. Unique interior with accentuated elements of naive art also contributes to his grade:

- Previous year there were 2500 restaurants in the competition, so this listing is a remarkable success. The satisfaction is even greater, because "Kraluš" Beer Pub was listed again, as it was not on the list in the past six years.

The tradition of catering facilities in Podravka goes as far as 1972 when "Kraluš" Beer Pub was adapted, while "Podravska klet" is open since 1976 as a part of Podravka's recreation center (PRC).

Having been listed among top 100 leading Croatian restaurants, Podravka's catering objects will be presented in the guide through the very top of Croatian gastronomy: "100 leading Croatian restaurants 2009 - guide for season 2010/2011 ". The materials will also be available on Internet, at www.gastronaut.hr, the site with more than 650.000 hits from around the world. Printed edition in 700 copies is intended for persons in charge of the promotion of facilities, and it will be distributed through tourist offices, book stores, large markets and newspaper booths.
