Occupational safety specialists in collaboration with persons authorized by the employer continuously perform education on occupational safety within Podravka.
According to Article 62 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Podravka hires six nurses providing first aid in three dispensaries at different locations. In organizational wholes having up to 20 employees, 1 worker has been educated to provide first aid, and on every other 50 workers another one worker has been educated to provide first aid. Through this program of educating workers for providing first aid, 420 workers have been educated within takethree years.
