We use the module Media to address news reporters and the public in order to bring them closer to Podravka. You will find here the latest news, media releases, photos, video recordings, images, reports, documents, disclosures in other media and other media matter related to Podravka.
- Why does Podravka use internet services for distributing information: images, video recordings, links (bookmarks), blogs and other tools in media communication?
This is just a part of Podravka’s “socialization” efforts. New ways of distributing information save time, enable better organization and raise the level of corporate communication, as well as the quality of material for releasing.
- Do I need to be a registered user to view and import user information on You Tube, Flickr, del.ico.us and other services?

No, everyone can use these services, without creating a user account (profile).
- What is the price of these services?

The use of all services is free of charge.
- Apart from the listed benefits, what other advantags do the media and public have from such communication?
Some of the major advantages are: information categorization and tagging, category and tag search, importing high quality material and images in high resolution.
Significant advantages for the media/readers is a subscription to information on news through RSS, on time, accurately, without delivering contact information and with a selected information source. For example, you can subscribe to «financial statements» and you will not miss any other document.
- Can I access the media information of Podravka, placed on the internet services for distributing information, from any computer?
You can access information for the media placed on YouTube, Flickr, del.icio.us and other web services from any computer with an internet link.
- What is You Tube?
You Tube is a free of charge online video service. Anyone can view or distribute video information released by You Tube users or, in this case, Podravka.
- Can I import and disclose a video recording from You Tube and release it on another web page or online magazine?
Yes. You do not need to register for using this option. All you have to do is find the sign “embedded” on the right hand side on the video recording page and import it by copying and placing it under “Embed” in the html code.
- What is Flickr?

Flickr is an internet service that enables online organization of images: storage, sorting, searching and distribution of photos.
- What are the advantages of using Flickr in media communications?

Photos can be tagged, categorized and searched by tags.
- What are the conditions for importing photos?

Each photo under "Additional Information" contains the conditions for use: for example "some rights reserved", "all rights reserved" and other attributes. Please check indications with each photo you intend to import and please observe all the conditions for use, accordingly.
- What is del.icio.us?

del.icio.us is an internet service that enables users to collect and organize bookmarks and links. del.icio.us is used for online link storage, and enables users to retrieve or add from any other computer with the same bookmarks.
- How does del.icio.us function within the Podravka Media module?

del.icio.us enables insight into abstracts related to Podravka. The del.icio.us page offers tags Podravka, Vegeta, Coolinarika, Lino, press release, annual statements etc, with links leading to abstracts related to Podravka. You only need to scan the web service page or follow the links from the "Media" pages.
- What are the advantages of using del.icio.us for the public and reporters?
In that way you will get an overall insight into Podravka's activities, all publications in other media, relevant information from other web pages, and you can "bookmark", share, organize or tag them etc. You will also see interesting links and abstracts that Podravka has bookmarked.
