Throughout its almost entire history, Podravka continually invests in people and their knowledge. In its strategy, Podravka has recognised "knowledge as its most valuable asset".
Learning is a part of corporate culture. Every employee, at all levels, is aware of the need to continually learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
Human Resources organises a series of educational programmes in coperation with faculties, Croatian and foreign educational institutions, top experts and instructors for particular fields, aiming to develop:
- managerial knowledge aimed at business process management,
- managerial skills aimed at human resource management,
- professional-specialist knowledge and skills in the area of technology, sales, marketing, finance, human resources etc.
- foreign language acquisition programmes,
- computer literacy programmes.
In order to meet the company`s needs for training programmes that develop managerial knowledge and skills, Podravka has:
established POdravka`s Academy of Management (POdravkina Menadžerska AKademija - POMAK),
- organised a Development programme for Sector Directors,
- holds seminars on key competency development.
