What is your job at the company?
As Director of Warehouse under
Construction, I lead the Distribution Centre Project in Dugopolje near Split. Work on the project started with
recording the very needs, preparing the project task and creating conceptual
designs in cooperation with separate teams of experts. This will be followed by
the completion of the project which will transform the selected concept of the building, installed equipment and
technology into a facility that will be implemented into Podravka’s logistics
system.
Which jobs have you had in the company?
My first job was in transport organization where I organized the transport of 25-tonne vehicles. Shortly after that I moved to warehouse operations and took over the leading of central logistics warehouses. Next were jobs in reporting and analyses, also in logistics.
What do you consider are the challenges of your job?
This interdisciplinary project demands coordination and synchronization of experts from different professions in reaching an optimal solution that will satisfy the logistic needs of the company.
