What is your job at the company?
I work as Director of Quality Control in the Quality Control and Technology Development Sector and I am responsible for the functioning of Podravka's quality control labs in all our production units in Croatia. The quality control labs consist of process and central labs that perform quality and food safety controls on all incoming raw material, packaging, work in progress and final products in compliance with laws and other standards.
Which jobs have you had in the company?
All my jobs so far have been connected with quality control and Podravka. I started working at the food safety control on pesticide residues at the central physical-chemical lab. After that I worked as Head of the Document, Registration and Legislation Department and now I am Director of Quality Control.
What do you consider are the challenges of your job?
The quality of our products, consumer health protection and trust in Podravka brands have always been imperatives of this company. The things that have changed compared to the past are the global environment and higher consumer expectations. Change management in relation to market demands, laws and risk assessment as well as constant quality and safety affirmation of Podravka brands in order to meet our consumers' expectations are true challenges.
What do you think are the advantages of working at Podravka?
For people who are prepared for permanent learning, Podravka is a real challenge.
