What were the jobs that you worked on so far at the company?
I have been working in the Studenac factory ever since I was employed with Podravka. Over time I was going through all the departments, each bringing additional responsibilities. A relationship with people was being developed and built along with the responsibility. Every job was conditioned by adjustments and demanded additional "new" engagement, with one purpose - to justify the trust and to show the knowledge and energy I gained and saved somewhere within me.
The positions I worked on: production technologist, independent production technologist, production supervisor, technical director and now the Studenac factory director.
Could you describe your tasks at the company?
Studenac factory is primarily the factory of natural mineral water, spring water and nonalcoholic beverages. My job today consists of tasks and responsibilities that I am trying to resolve to the satisfaction of both sides, and they are related to the problems of the factory.
Dislocation of the factory and the specific features of our production condition an engagement including all the segments related to the location of the factory and its springs.
Considering the springs are the basis of our production and the specific qualities of our factory and those that differ it from other factories, the actions related to monitoring the springs are also a part of my job. Here I mean cooperation with the local community, cadastre offices, land registry, cooperation with the geologists, tracking new technologies when finding new wells, monitoring the wells activities, ensuring the work conditions at the wells, supervision and maintenance and tracking all legislative provisions and regulations to ensure compliance and thus ensure undisturbed and safe work for our factory.
Green surfaces surrounding the factory as well as the wells need special supervision in order to avoid illegal actions caused by unconscientious citizens, jeopardizing our wells and our raw materials.
The packaging is a special segment where we try to give additional attention. With dedicated work of our employees we have managed to achieve a great success on that segment as well.
Apart from being the Studenac factory director, I also perform technical tasks which I manage with great own will and good cooperation with my closest associates. That segment of work is not foreign to me, I actually like it a lot. I am sometimes forced to contact directly with the suppliers and equipment manufacturers in order to solve a problem. Resolving them successfully and in a short time span they provide me with a new dimension of importance and satisfaction with what I do.
Administrative tasks are constituent parts of my work day and they need to be mentioned as well.
What do you consider the challenges of your work?
Tasks and positive results are something that makes me satisfied and complete.
In your opinion, what are the advantages of working at Podravka?
People with experience, knowledge and different technologies in one place are an advantage that few people can have in their career.
