What were the jobs that you worked on so far at the company?

I found my employment at Podravka four years ago, after having graduated from a postgraduate study and receiving an MA degree. My first job was in the Marketing sector, in the team of Dolcela sweets, where as a Product manager I was in charge of developing the brand, new products and marketing communication in the markets of Croatia, Western Europe and overseas countries.
Although this job at Podravka is not my first job, working in such a big company implies a series of processes and procedures that need to be comprehended. Positive working environment and selfless help from my colleagues meant a great deal in conquering my first tasks. After two years of working in the Marketing sector and after having been evaluated at Podravka's internal evaluation center, I was given the opportunity to acquire new work experience in the market of Serbia. Getting to know the way of doing business, environment, the competition, the rules of this significant neighbouring market, had an extreme influence on further development of my career at Podravka. Apart from the professional side, being in another environment, getting to know cultural and social life, surely enriched my personal life as well. After more than a year of living in the market of Serbia, I took over the position of a Marketing manager in the Beverages business program, where I am in charge of the Lero brand.

Could you describe your tasks at the company?

Working as a Marketing manager in Beverages business program included strategic and operative brand management. I am involved in the entire production and life cycle of Lero product, from development of new products to production, continuous improvements and product innovations, to product placement in points of sale and marketing communication in individual markets. I am particularly pleased that no work day in this job is the same, and it is full of challenges that require ever new creative solutions.

What do you consider are the challenges of your work?

Recognizing consumer needs and developing new products that will satisfy those needs and achieve market success is my greatest challenge, but also the biggest satisfaction in this job. Managing marketing campaigns is a real responsibility. One has to recognize marketing communication that will reach the consumers and represent the brand in the best way and to achieve success, which was best achieved in the Lero syrups campaign during summer 2011.
Good team spirit where there is a whole Beverages team behind every project makes all challenges easier to overcome.     

In your opinion, what are the advantages of working at Podravka?

It is extremely pleasing to work in a company that pays equal attention to development and success of its brands as well as its employees. Caring for employees, recognizing the initiative, respecting interests of the individuals and providing the possibilities to acquire new experiences, knowledge and skills has a motivational effect and provides a sense of satisfaction of working at Podravka.
