Custard slices are one of the most popular cakes, both at home or in pastry shops. Towns from Samobor, Zagreb or Bled to Paris have made them their trade marks. There are many varieties with puff pastry layers and egg cream, but we recommend a simple and refined preparation using Dolcela Custard filling.

This custard filling can also be used in combination with different sponge cakes, omelettes, Swiss rolls, gateaux, biscuit bases, or desserts with fruit, ladyfingers, liqueurs or whipped cream.
