
Fant mix for Stroganoff is an ideal base for preparing renowned Russian meal Stroganoff. Following our recipe, this meal is prepared from (baby) beef, with added sour or regular cream, pickles and button mushrooms. Adding Fant mix for Stroganoff your meal will turn into a true culinary delight.
Ingredients: Corn starch, skimmed powder milk, table salt, yeast extract, dried onion, wheat flour, flavour enhancer (monosodium glutamate), sugar, herbal fat, garlic, dried red pepper, white pepper, acid (citric acid). May contain eggs and celery in trace amounts.
Usage: For 4 portions add 500 g baby beef, 150 g button mushrooms, 300 ml cream, 20 g butter, 1 teaspoon mustard, pickles.
Preparation:
- Cut the thin slices in stripes. Cut the button mushrooms in thin slices, and pickles in stripes.
- Shortly fry the meat on the butter and then add button mushrooms and mustard.
- Continue to stew until the liquid evaporates.
- Pour with 500 ml of lukewarm water and add the contents of the bag. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Close to the end of cooking add pickles and cream and bring to boil.
- If desired, you can add 2 spoons of white vine.
Storage: Keep in dry place at room temperature.
Shelf life: To be used by the date on the back side of the packaging.
