
Fant mix for chilli con carne is an ideal base to prepare a spicy meal. Chilli con carne is prepared around the world with various kinds of meat: with chicken, baby beef, minced meat, cubed meat or combination of minced and cubed meat. Main ingredients of this original recipe are beans, chilli peppers, beef meat, vegetables and spices. Basic characteristic of all the chilli con carne recipes are abundant amounts of all kinds of fresh chilli peppers and a mixture of spices with chilli powder. For spicy meals fans, this supreme delight can be prepared using Fant mix for chilli con carne.
Ingredients: Dried tomato 25 %, wheat flour, sugar, table salt, dried onion, yeast extract, flavour enhancer (monosodium glutamate), red pepper, chilli 2,6%, garlic, ginger, coriander, caraway, herbal fat. May contain milk, eggs and celery in trace amounts.
Usage: For 4 portions add 300 g minced meat (pork, baby beef), 200 g cooked red beans, 20 g pancetta or cured meat, 1 red chilli pepper.
Preparation:
- Stir the minced meat until the liquid evaporates. Add pancetta or cured cubed meat and fry slightly.
- Add strained red beans, pour 400 ml of lukewarm water, add the contents of the bag and cut hot pepper.
- Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
Storage: Keep in dry place at room temperature.
Shelf life: To be used by the date on the back side of the packaging.
